Thank You Caroline for making this blog

Thanks f0r making this Blog.
It can help staying connected with friends and by sharing my experience with other cancer patients who may visit this blog; it will help us all.
I will mention this blog at our next Cancer Support meeting that takes place at Campbell on the the second Tuesday each month.
Syed

A Gathering of Friends

Sunday, August 29 marked a picnic Linda threw for Syed, his nephew visiting from Texas, and his close friends. It was wonderful to finally meet all the people so important to him. I must say, I find myself amazed but not surprised by the support and true friendship shown by all that surround Syed. At the end of the picnic, I walked away thinking that Syed is a true example of the saying, “people know you by those you associate with”—all are wonderfully amazing people to know. We should all be so lucky to have his friendship circle in our lives.

Here's a few photos:

Adding more pictures to picnic posted by Caroline earlier.
These pictures were taken by my nephew Saeed Raghib who came from Dallas, TX to see me.

First Day of the Rizvi's Road Blog

As stated in the “About Rizvi’s Road” section of this site, the intention of this blog is to provide Syed’s family and friends with easy access to a status of Syed’s journey to recovery from cancer. This blog is also intended to provide support to those battling cancer and wanting a place to share their story.

The idea to start a blog for Syed came about when we continued to receive numerous emails from people wanting to join the email distribution that provided updates on Syed's recovery. Instead of administering a distribution list, creating a blog seemed much more effective. Now all of you can pass on the link to this blog to anyone interested in following Syed’s progress. You can join the blog as a follower or just sign in and add your comments and thoughts. Most importantly, Syed now has a wonderful way to post his own thoughts and feelings and be assured that he didn’t miss including anyone in his own personal messages.
